Biography
Masoud Pirmoradian was a 67-year-old retiree who was injured by tear gas on January 8, but still attended a protest on January 9 in Pardis, Tehran, answering a call by Prince Reza Pahlavi. During this protest, he was shot in the heart by security forces and killed. He is remembered as a 'son of Iran' and a martyr for the homeland.
مسعود پیرمرادیان بازنشستهای ۶۷ ساله بود که در تاریخ ۱۸ دی بر اثر گاز اشکآور مجروح شده بود. او با این حال در ۱۹ دی به فراخوان شاهزاده رضا پهلوی برای شرکت در تجمع اعتراضی در پردیس تهران رفت. وی در این تجمع بر اثر شلیک گلوله به قلب توسط نیروهای امنیتی کشته شد. از او به عنوان «فرزند ایران و جانفدای میهن» یاد میشود.
